Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) is the term used to describe how your brain identifies, categorizes, analyzes, and makes sense of the auditory information it receives. It is when this process is disrupted that a disorder is present. At Urban Hearing, our audiologist will perform an assessment to evaluate, diagnose, and formulate intervention strategies.
